I’ve been silent for awhile, and gearing up to resume blogging, even if at a slower pace.

For starters, I’ll be posting about several presentations I gave at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences 2011, and another at the annual conference of the International Association for the Study of Popular Music (IASPM).

CONGRESS 2011

This year, the Congress was held in Fredericton, May 28-July 3, jointly hosted by the Uni of New Brunswick, celebrating its 225th anniversary this year, and St Thomas Uni. It may well be the largest annual conference domestically, with 2 000 plus delegates and dozens of societies and associations.
