Update: Jan 21, 2014: And, yes, it does chime with the cyclic universe hypothesis advanced by Paul Steinhardt & Neil Turok — existence does not start and end, it has always been and will always be, pulsating (breathing, really) from one Big Bang to the next   🙂 🙂 🙂

Since my full-length Ecosonance Thesis is a 1-pager, shouldn’t its abstract be a 1-liner?

Recall the paradigm-changing formula of Einstein, which established that matter is basically a kind of energy, not opposed to it?

E = mc^2 [energy equals m (mass) multiplied by c (speed of light) squared, ergo since speed of light was assumed to be unchanging, in effect energy correlates with (or, is of the same nature as) mass]

What if we were to ecosonize the notation?
E is the ecosonance of an ecosystem
E correlates with M
M is the ecosystem’s members, multiplied by C squared
C is the cumulative change members undergo

E = MC^2

Change “squared” is always a positive number (- x – = +; + x + = +) , and existing members, being a positive number irrespective of changes they undergo, the right-hand side of the equation wuold be positive. Thus, the system’s ecosonance would also be “positive”, e.g. maintaining existence (or, perhaps in the case of humans, what I have provisionally termed Ecosonance Felicity).

So, pursuing the parallel with Energy,

Existence/Ecosonance cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transformed from one form into another.
